Last month, I blogged about Sugar Dating Your Mistress, and this month I’ve put together a podcast about it with Ms Kellie. It’s a hot topic on the dating scene and overlaps nicely with being a GFE phone mistress. Unlike Kellie, my age doesn’t begin with a “2”, so we have very different experiences with this – go ahead and listen, you’ll learn a lot from our perspectives!

Sugar Dating Relationships

Sugar Dating, in a nutshell, usually means compensated casual dating, often with sexual and even kinky activity. Also known as Sugaring, it is a type of relationship where a Sugar Doll, usually a young lady starting out in her adult life, provides companionship and sexy fun in exchange for being pampered. The Sugar Daddy is the older, successful man who does the pampering. And pampering covers a lot of territory! It immediately makes you start to think of shopping trips, spa days and weekend getaways. But in reality, when it comes to sugar dating, it more often than not includes a financial arrangement like an allowance, tuition payments, or an investment into the young lady’s new business venture.

Although most sugar dating is casual, at least in the beginning, it can also include things like monogamous relationships, being a married man’s Other Woman, marriage, and just about anything else you can dream up! Each sugar relationship will be different even based on the guys’ personalities and so much more.

My Kind Of Sugar Guy

I’m a big fan of dating, sugar or otherwise, the self-made guys. I would say they have a very practical streak and that appeals to me. They have worked super hard and overcome obstacles to be successful, and they’re generally down to earth and not particularly showy. I love how thoughtful and sexy these guys are, I tend to have great intimate connections with this type. When you are working toward a goal, say a new car or tuition, they will absolutely help you out because they remember what it was like. So maybe they’re not the best choice if you’re interested in a negotiated allowance or a shopping trip down Fifth Avenue, but they are real stand-up guys when your laptop craps out or you’re hit with some other unexpected expense.

My Favorite Sugar Sub-Daddy

Once upon a time, there was this one unhappily married man with a secret bi side, about 15 years older than me. A year or so into our phone relationship, I bought my first house. He was so helpful with advice and oh my, the housewarming gifts were epic! Basically I was moving in with nothing but a coffee maker and a lawn chair, and he treated me to everything from a mattress pad for my new bed to a 50” TV. Interestingly enough, he appreciated my unusual take on things in general and ran all kinds of ideas by me. And when it came to sexytime, it was soooo easy to get in his head and make him mine! Good times, good times.

Advice for Sugar Dating

A lot of successful, sexy men choose sugar dating because they value efficiency and they don’t want to waste their time. With this type of arrangement, they can be straightforward about their needs and expectations. They like that and so do I. So early on, they should address how often they are available and/or willing to get together, even make a “phone date”. And of course, there needs to be a discussion of her expectations in terms of gifts, tributes, treats, mentorship, etc.
