A couple of weeks ago I sold my nice, warm Florida house with swimming pool and drove my rather fine ass across the deep south and over a treacherous mountain pass to Colorado’s Western Slope. Yes, in January…kind of a reverse migration, if you will. So at the moment, I’m taking calls from a cozy little temp cottage until I close on my lovely (but pool-less) new home in a few weeks. It’s been quite an adventure so far!
